Real Ale Bar Car
In cooperation with the North Norfolk Railway, the Society runs the Muddle and Go Nowhere Real Ale Bar car. Housed aboard our 1937 art-deco LNER Restaurant Buffet coach, volunteers provide a real ale bar service on trains during selected special events and high season running days.
The bar serves draught real ale from the barrel, bottled beers, lagers, wines, selected spirits along with soft drinks, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and other light refreshments and snacks.
Real Ale & Fish 'n' Chip Evening Trains
Run by the North Norfolk Railway, these trains run in the evening, with Real Ale from the Bar Car and Fish & Chips from one of Sheringham's top chip shops. Buy tickets via the North Norfolk Railway online shop.
All bar services are subject to the NNR's operating conditions. The Railway runs a strict 'over 25' policy, and anyone under the age of 18 is prohibited from purchasing and consuming alcohol on NNR premises, including within the Muddle and Go Nowhere Real Ale Bar.
