These reminiscences are from people who work behind the scenes of every railway. Highly skilled personnel, sometimes working long hours to make sure the railway runs safely. These are memories from the generation who started in the late 1940s with steam and worked for British Rail. This download includes Tony Edsor, who worked as a fitter at Stratford and Rod Lock, who went from Station Master in Norfolk to the British Railways Board headquarters in London.
