Y14:2014 - Nearly There!

This week we have breached yet another important milestone for ourY14:2014 appeal, with the breach of the £70,000 mark.

The overhaul is now in full swing with all manner of works being undertaken at Riley & Sons (E) engineering workshops in Bury, Lancashire. Many of the tasks undertaken are now being completed, which means the locomotive is beginning to be reassembled.

Thanks to some tremendous and most generous support from our members and benefactors, we have broken the back of our massive £100,000 appeal and are very much on the home straight. But we still have a sizable hurdle to overcome with just short of £30,000 still required to top the appeal.

Here's how you can help restore the Y14 today:
