Wissington Members' Launch Day

Following her return to steam in February 2012, the M&GN Joint Railway Society is pleased to announce an additional Society Members' day in the calendar to celebrateWissington'svolunteer led rebuild.

Wissingtonis currently based on theMid-Suffolk Light Railway, and we are grateful to the MSLR for opening up their railway to Society members to enjoyWissingtonfor the day on Saturday 14th September. The official launch is scheduled to take place at 1230. Please bring your membership card to entitle you to free travel on the MSLR on the day.

As Brockford is not easily accessible by public transport, the Society has put on a minibus service between Stowmarket Railway Station and Brockford. A minibus will leave Stowmarket Railway Station at 1030 and 1115, and will leave Brockford at 1400, 1445 and 1530 on the return. The MSLR is two minutes from the A140 and can be found at the following address:
