Ring Haw Chassis off to Flour Mill

The next steps in the overhaul of Ring Haw are occurring, with the chassis of Ring Haw off to The Flour Mill, Locomotive Repair Workshop in Bream, Gloucestershire.

On Thursday (4th May) Ring Haw commenced it journey to Bream behind our newly acquired Class 08 shunter on the short trip from Weybourne Yard to Sheringham to await the road transport to Gloucestershire. The journey had been planned for some time but awaited the availability of the heavy road trailer operated by the Society’s preferred transport contractor.

Ring Haw departed from Sheringham on today (Friday 5th May).
