Quad-Arts in Service

The M&GN Joint Railway Society's immaculate 1924 LNERGresley Quad-Art setwill be in service for nine consecutive days from the 6th - 14th July for the North Norfolk Railway'sQuad-Arts Week.

The week kicks off on the weekend of the 6th & 7th July with the NNR's annualVintage Transport Festival and Bus Weekend. Over two days, the NNR opens its doors to around 300 vintage vehicle owners from all over Britain to showcase some of the finest classic cars and busses.

There is a special timetable for the 6th & 7th July with trains every 30 minutes. Two steam locomotives, including the Society'sLNER B12 8572will be in traffic, along with fresh-out-the-works and recently rebuilt Class 37 D6732 and a Class 101 DMU. Normal fares apply on Saturday 6th July, with special fares on Sunday 7th July. Further details can be found on the North Norfolk Railway website.

Normal fares apply for all other days of the Quad Art Week and it is planned to have B12 8572 hauling the Quad Arts for the duration.
