New Fundraising Officer

The trustees are pleased to announce that Marie Chapman has agreed to take on the role of Fund Raising Officer for the Society. This is a new role we have created which recognises our desire to explore the possibility of obtaining grants and other funding to pursue projects that form part of our strategic plans. Marie brings a wealth of expertise to the role. She has over 15 years experience raising funding for a range of charities, including at least one heritage railway. We believe her skills and contacts will be an invaluable addition to the team.
