Muddle and Go Nowhere Bar Returns
The Society'sMuddle and Go Nowherebar car, housed inside our restored 1937 Gresley Buffet (RB) makes a welcome return over all three days of theNorth Norfolk Railway Diesel Gala, which this year is organised by theWeybourne Traction Groupand held on the 14th, 15th & 16th June.
The bar will be serving a range of draught real ale, bottled beers and other refreshments, as well as Society merchandise. Timetables for the event can be downloaded from the NNR website forFriday/SaturdayandSunday. Note you can find out which trains host the bar by the small beer glass symbol above departures.
The bar car will also be in business for both evening 'Beerex' and Fish & Chip specials, which run on Friday night with Class 37 D6732 and on Saturday night with visiting Class 33 33108. More information on ticketing for the gala and for evening 'Beerex' trains can be found on the North Norfolk Railway Website. Please note,a 15% discount is availableon tickets purchased in advance. 'Beerex' trains depart Sheringham at 1805, 1930 and 2100, arriving back at 2150 with ample time to make either the 2217 or 2347 mainline connections to Cromer, North Walsham, Wroxham and Norwich.
The Society's Class 31 D5631 is booked to work trains on Friday 15th and Saturday 16th June, which will be the locomotive's first gala since outshopping in BR Green.
