Mixed Traction Weekend Loco Line Up

We are pleased to announce the line-up of locomotives for our Mixed Traction Weekend on 24th - 25th July (subject to the usual caveats). With the uncertainty around COVID restrictions we have had to focus on putting on a great show with our home fleet of locos rather than being able to commit to booking a visiting loco. We've got several new ideas this year and hope to put on a memorable and enjoyable event.

The loco line-up is as follows:

Class 31 D5631, hauling its first scheduled passenger trains since its overhaul

Class 37 D6732, which celebrates 25 years since its first runs in preservation later this summer

Class 08 D3935, both shunting and hauling selected services along the line

Class 101 101681 (51228+56062)

Class 101 101694 (51188+56352)

9F 92203 'Black Prince'

J15/Y14 564

*B12 8572, in what is expected to be its last year in service before overhaul

*4MT 76084

*On the Saturday, 76084 will be the standby/Thunderbird locomotive. It will be hauling brake van rides in Weybourne station limits in between any other required duties. On the Sunday, 8572 will be the standby/Thunderbird/brake van ride locomotive.
