Members Day Review 2014
We are proud to announce that our 2014 Members' Day was a massive success, not least for theY14: 2014 Appealwhich has now reached £87,000.
We cannot thank our members and supporters enough for answering our call for a 'big push' towards finishing off the appeal target of £100,000. In just under a week, we have taken the appeal total from £75,000 to £87,000.
Members' Day was well patronised by our members and our Members' Day special formed of vehicles from the Vintage set was very popular. There was good patronage onDriver for a Fiverat Sheringham and theMuddle and Go NowhereReal Ale Bar car did sterling service keeping our members and NNR shareholders refreshed.
Other attractions included the transport of our newly restored M&GN Norwich City Railway Station Horse Dray, from Weybourne (where the restoration was undertaken) to Holt, behind a fine shire horse. The dray is now on display at Holt station, standing on the former Cambridge Weighbridge.
A video review of the day can also be found via Peter Boggis's Youtube page, here.
