Joint Line Issue 158 Posted

Issue 158 ofJoint Line, the full colour journal of the M&GN Joint Railway Society, has been posted to members.

The summer 2013 edition includes the latest news update from the Chairman, the NNR General Manager, Society and NNR locomotive and Carriage & Wagon news and the usual updates from other NNR departments.

As well as photographic coverage of the March gala, this edition contains the first of a two part article by railway historian Adrian Vaughan on the Eastern and Midlands locomotives and drivers. Also included is an article from ex-South Lynn fireman Ray Bullock on how he and his depot was affected by the aftermath of the 1955 strike and in a 'first' for Joint Line there is an intriguing short story with a strong M&GN influence.
