Information for Members Weekend

Members Weekend Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th October

The plan for the weekend is finally coming together

There will be 3 steam locos each day, at the moment these are Y14 564, WD 90775 and provisionally 7F 50839 plus diesel class 31 D5631

Passenger rolling stock will be the mainline set, which will include the Gresley with the bar open, the vintage set, the Quads and the Subs

The first passenger train ex Sheringham is at 09:30 and ex Holt at 09:35

Passenger trains are then approx. every 30 mins, with the last train Ex Sheringham at 16:30 and Ex Holt at 17:27.

There will be a non-stop run during the day, please see timetables on the day to advise of this timing.

A demonstration goods train is also planned, with 12 vehicles, including 2 brakes, which will be the longest freight train to have run on the NNR.

Shed tours will operate on both days, there is no booking required and they are free, but a donation would be appreciated to share between the Society and the shed fund.

At Weybourne, as well as our book stall, please visit the booking hall, where Sue Roberts our membership trustee and her colleagues have set up some displays for you, including Society items, the sale of books and merchandise from the artist James Green.

At Holt the museum and cottage will be open.

We hope you are able to visit us over the two days and have an enjoyable time.
