HRA Awards

The Society came runner up in the HRA loco restoration John Coiley award with our Y14.

Keith Ashford was present at the awards ceremony and told me it was a superb evening and he was proud to be part of it, representing the Society.

The Society is extremely pleased with the result and would like to thank the anonymous person or persons who nominated the locomotive for this prestigious award.

The award was presented by Mark Garnish PM for Wyre Forest. He was guest of honour at them event and made a very good opening speak ahead if the main event.

He has served on the influential Treasury Select Committee and on ahead number of All Party Parliamentary Groups, including most notably Heritage Railways, of which he is Chairman.
