Horse Dray Nears Completion

The ongoing restoration of an original Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway horse dray, believed to be from Norwich City station is nearing completion, with final painting and assembly underway.

The dray arrived to us in a sorry state and was given to us by the Gressenhall Museum where it had been in store.

The dray features a number of original details, including 'M&GNJR' engraved wheel bearings. Once complete, it will go on permanent display at Holt, where it is hoped we will add to the ever growing goods yard complex.
