Galas Galore!

August and September will be two busy months for M&GNJRS locomotives, with events on both the North Norfolk Railway and Mid-Suffolk Light Railway.

At the end of the month, the NNR will host its annualGrand Steam Gala, with seven steam locomotives in traffic. Attractions include visiting engines 7820Dinmore Manorand 'Black 5' 45305, alongside 92203Black Princeand 1982Ring Hawwhich both return after overhaul. The Society's B12 8572, Quad-Art set and demonstration freight train will both be in traffic, as will theMuddle and Go Nowhere Bar Carfor the duration of the event, including special evening Real Ale trains.

On the Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th September, theMid-Suffolk Light Railwaywill be hosting their 'Light Railway Gala', which will feature the Society's 0-6-0ST 1700Wissingtonalongside two visiting 0-4-0ST Bagnall locomotives, No.2452Jubileeand No.2565 which will be visiting from the East Anglian Railway Museum and Northamptonshire respectively.
