I have volunteered on the North Norfolk Railway since 2005, holding a variety of operational competencies, including both passenger and goods guard since 2009. A dubious claim to fame is that I have attended every North Norfolk Railway Steam Gala since their commencement in 1993 though, being four at the time, I remember little about the inaugural event. Away from the NNR, I am a pianist, organist, singer and choral conductor, leading the Sheringham & Cromer Choral Society and founding the North Norfolk Youth Chorus. Eight years working in primary education led to my current role at a large multi-academy trust, working as a music educator delivering everything from whole school assemblies to individual piano and singing lessons in some of Norfolk’s most deprived schools. In my spare time, I can be found dealing with 1:76 railways, 1:1 gardens, and 2 rescue cats.
